Class 7 Learner's Licence

Alberta's Class 7 knowledge test is 30 questions, and it stops the moment you've got 25 right or 6 wrong. These sets build up to that.

Adaptive · rebuilt every time

Your weak spots

Finish a set and we'll build this from what you actually missed - the questions you got wrong, weighted, plus more from the topics that tripped you up. Nothing to drill yet.

This is the source everything on the real test comes from, and it is free. Practice questions find your gaps; the handbook fills them. Read it on the government's own site so you get the current version.

Watch out for

Rules that catch people out in Alberta specifically.

  • Playground and school zone hours differ - and the limits apply on the days and times posted, not all day.
  • GDL drivers are at zero alcohol. Not 'under the legal limit' - zero.
  • A flashing green light in Alberta means something different than in some other provinces.

The basics, gently introduced.

Set 2 · Everyday Roads

Thirty questions on the core rules Alberta drivers use every day - roundabouts, lane markings, stopped emergency vehicles, crosswalks and the parking distances people guess at.

Core rules most people get right.

Set 3 · Real Exam Pressure

Thirty-five questions at genuine test difficulty: zone hours you have to work out, two-lane roundabouts, divided-highway school bus rules, demerit thresholds and the exact distances Alberta puts in the book.

Real exam difficulty.

Alberta Set 4 - Real Exam Difficulty

Medium · 35 questions

Thirty-five mixed questions pitched at the level of the real Class 7 knowledge test. Signs, right of way, speed zones, GDL conditions and winter driving, interleaved the way the actual test presents them.

Real exam difficulty.

Alberta Set 5 - The Ones People Fail On

Hard · 35 questions

Thirty-five hard questions: exact distances, demerit values, impaired driving sanctions, multi-step right of way inside roundabouts, and the sign pairs that look almost identical. Everything here is answerable from the official guide, but none of it is guessable.

The ones people actually fail on.
